Brandon knew he wanted something lifted, but didn’t want a sky-high lift given he wanted to drive it everyday and needed to access garage parking on the regular, so Shaun chose to use a 7” McGaughy’s suspension for the perfect height done up in a gloss black that flows well with the theme. He requested a “blacked-out” rig and some KC HiLiTES Pro 6s above the front windshield, which Shaun obliged. “I had the same setup on my truck and he said to make sure to put the same on his. And the last request was for a Horn Blasters train horn setup, which are always fun!”
When choosing the other mods and accessories, Shaun wanted to work with companies that had a solid reputation in the industry, as well as those that were huge supporters of any and all special projects the shop has. For a mean front-end look the RK Sport hood shows off its aggressive new styling cues, while the custom Chevy grille they designed looks killer with the red LEDs lit up at night! For extra power, a Gibson Exhaust system was added, which “sounds so mean and just changes the demeanor of the truck when it coming down the road,” Shaun adds.
The experts at Team CC had no troubles with Brandon’s build, taking only two weeks to complete from start to finish. When Shaun presented the completed Chevy to Brandon at his home in Dallas, he was beyond excited and grateful for Team CC and Shaun’s hard work. “He was excited and humbled at the same time,” he says. “Brandon is a true professional and we are very blessed to have had the opportunity to work with him over the years, and hopefully, for years to come.”
“Brandon does so much for others and being able to build a vehicle for him to express our gratitude for his selflessness acts is something TEAM CC takes huge honor is doing.”
